Being native San Diegans, we have always enjoyed San Diego's backcountry and have spent many camping trips in the various parks around San Diego county, sharing the joy of family and nature.

Pinecrest stands alone! Pinecrest has been part of my family since 1975, my father being part of The General Dynamics Corp. In 1994 Sydney and I acquired our own site and continued to become more and more dedicated to the park. The 2002 and 2003 fires brought unexpected challenges to Pinecrest. We moved to Julian full time in 2003. Helping in the rehabilitation on the park, as well as becoming part time employees. We took over as full time managers in 2004 and the day to day operations of Pinecrest as well. Being residents of Julian and sharing the lifestyle, we see the beauty of Pinecrest, as do our wonderful site holders.

The changes to Pinecrest itself, as well as the improvements by Frank and Kathleen continue to move us forward. They project the dedications each of us has to the uniqueness, beauty and possibilities of Pinecrest.
